Law firms representing President Donald Trump in election lawsuits are under relentless assault by the Twitter blue check leftist mob as well as other various anti-Trump personalities and groups which have threatened to blacklist and tarnish the reputation of both the firms as well as their employees and clients.
With the Trump team planning fresh legal challenges in Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania, and with campaign staff being redeployed to these areas, the election battle appears far from over.
Jones Day, one of the countrys largest law firms, is the most prominent firm representing President Trump and the Republican Party as they prepare to wage a legal war challenging the election outcome.
As a result, the litigation powerhouse has received a slew of threats in recent days.
Chicago Tribune columnist Rex Huppke called for the firm to be dragged through the mud.
Firms like @JonesDay and any others representing Trump in these outlandish election lawsuits should be dragged through the mud, his tweet read. Their other clients should know how Americans feel about firms willing to undermine our democracy. The PR shitstorm this stirs up should be blinding.

Sure. We agree.
But:
We have no assurance any of this is true at all, given that the MSM is patching together all sorts of recorded statements, like Pompeo’s, and putting the altered statements on at the top of the hour news on talk stations, to incite the right against Pompeo. So, why not cobble together some loose talk from people not even involved in this case and attribute them to *Trump’s attorneys* and then write a story to incite Trump’s supporters.
It would be heinous if it actually happened or happened as purported. I do not think that is the case.
That said, it is on the firm to refute and so far, they haven’t. So, I’ll mark that against them.
Most high-profile lawyers are just as scummy as any storefront shyster. They just wear better clothes and have better addresses. Many of us have been involved in events needing an attorney, even usually non-adversarial things like probate. Many have then needed to hire attorneys to fight the first attorneys. Nature of the game.
Let’s rate attorneys against journalists. Maybe just let them fight it out between themselves while we go after bigger game. That’ll be fun.
You are right..."We have no assurance any of this is true at all." So true!!!
Ditto on the donation. My concerns were the very high-powered sales job on that web site. I had to read everything very carefully and even after assuring myself I was only contributing what I chose 1x, there were at least 15 other pleas before I finalized. H’mmmm.
In the end, I contributed a small amount 1 time. The $$ is used for other things than attorneys. Thee are many costs to a lawsuit, especially at the higher levels.
Lawyers all charge exorbitantly, IMO. The fees for these top-tier practitioners before the SCOTUS are obscene. POTUS works for free. Seems to me, the patriotic thing would be for the lawyers to do the same. It is their country, too.
The air waves are full of blowhards these days,, even some of them get caught up in the hysteria and go ‘goofy’ on the air...
