It’s a legitimate concern.
And the same could be said of congress.
I figure there’s a large cadre of folks in government, even some that are mostly “good”, that would look the other way for the very same reason.
Especially in the face of overwhelming legal evidence.
Such a finding would rip a chasm through the body politic the likes of which we have not seen since 1860.
There is certain possibility the country would simply melt down.

There are a lot of people out there right now who think this way.
Once they begin to understand what’s happening, they will understand where the real danger is coming from, and they will begin to blame the leftists for putting us in this position.
The leftists will be greatly weakened, they are paper tigers (the Americans are, anyway), and they will turn on each other.
