I do believe I’d take it over another Hurricane Laura.
I’d just toss another log on the fire and calmly wait it out, then go snowmobiling.
Oh I’d also take a Blizzard any day to a Hurricane!I miss my fireplace so lucky you!
Growing up lived in upper North Eastern Pa. near the NY State Border...saw huge storms growing up. Rolling Hills of Pa gave us wonderful town streets that would be closed off for kids to sled. There were always loads of parents there too probably because the hill extended on and on and gave everyone a great ride!
In our various businesses we were one of the first to carry snowmobiles in our area...”Ski Doos”. Took them up on the mountain we raced to get to the top challenges and hoped you didn’t fall over before reaching the summit! Ha!
Pretty much everyone had them in the area...though a fad then it’s nice that they continued to today.
