Buy generic/store/local brands.
Find a nice local storefront restaurant. Avoid the chains.
I only use Amazon to check prices then I buy somewhere else.

The 71 million that make the country run. Farmers, truck drivers, electricians, plumbers, machinists, carpenters, store clerks, restaurant workers, etc. To live a human needs food, clothing, and shelter. We don’t need Google, Twitter, Facebook, big media. Sports. Politicians, Hollywood, etc. to live. The masses in the city could get hungry, wet and cold.
