Oleander is in the same family as digitalis, and has cardio effects. Digitalis is the ‘source’ of the digoxin, used for heart failure. The drug has a very narrow therapeutic window, and can be toxic if dosed too high.
I would be very very careful with oleander dosing, and monitoring.
Homeopathic remedies have such a tiny amount of the original substance that they are completely harmless.
