Cornyn-beans has always been suspect. Didn’t he just win re-election? There’s never been a credible primary challenger. Maybe if the Bush’s controls are turned off some will arise.

Cornyn-beans has always been suspect. Didnt he just win re-election? Theres never been a credible primary challenger. Maybe if the Bushs controls are turned off some will arise. I've not been a Cornyn fan, he was on board for tearing down monuments and renaming bases. But, I've been paying attention to his votes this past 4 years and he has backed President Trump. Sans a better primary challenger, he has at least been useful in backing all Presidential needs.
That said, I think he just goes with whichever side is currently buttering his bread and he knows Texans support President Trump. I would love for us to have another Senator of Cruz' caliber, but I've seen no Cornyn harm during the Trump administration.
I would dearly love for Louis Gomhert to take the Cornyn seat in 6 years. I've not seen any indication that Rep. Gomhert is thinking of a Senate run, just my dream team thought.

Yes, you're right on. Cornyn won by 6. He's a sitting palm tree but blows over in breezes which ever way, straining to replace McConnell and for years kissing his broccoli 🥦, faithfully. He loves to ride the critics line against Trump and appears to prefer chewing gravel before ever being a staunch defender of Trump or the country.
