To: The Fop

Yes, it is like being on Facebook and Twitter. We have to get off completely. I know you all like to see what is going on with your children, your grandchildren, your siblings, but we have to stop, entirely, no exceptions.

People kept in touch very well before the digital age. In fact, photos and phone calls were treats. They really highlighted an otherwise ordinary day.

.... And vinyl record albums weren’t as compact and convenient as CDs or streaming..... But they sound much warmer, and it’s nice to choose between a side one or side two with around 20 minutes of music on it, and then deciding what you want to listen to next.... And album covers were the perfect size works of art to go with the music..... Ever since they got rid of vinyl, popular musicians are not nearly as photographed or as visually recognisable as they used to be, and music isn’t as important to people
