Rush Limbaugh: Trump should appoint 'election czar'

Amid what he describes as a "scattershot" approach to proving vote fraud, talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday "his dream" would be for Trump to appoint an "election czar" to consolidate the evidence, communicate daily with the American people and help form a targeted strategy for preserving the integrity of the 2020 presidential election.

Limbaugh insisted that while Biden "think's he's been elected president," he's not.

"There hasn't been a certified vote yet. Media networks do not determine who presidents are, and he is not president yet," he told his listeners.

Limbaugh said the election czar would employ staff that would "take in all of the evidence," including from official Trump investigations, lawsuits and court rulings.

"They all need to be investigated, and they all needed to be tracked down, do not misunderstand," he explained. "But there need to be very clear, specific facts presented in a scholarly and concise way."

I think the Patriot Act gives Trump the authority to do just about whatever he wants - as long as he has a willing military force at his command. He can declare that the election has been subverted by a foreign power and that an Act of War has been committed. Getting rid of Esper may have been a necessary first step toward that.

Although we trust Trump to use these powers wisely, the precedent would obviously be horrible. A future Democrat would pay it back, with interest.

Once he is re-elected, he should push for a constitutional amendment to federalize elections for President, US Senate and House Representatives.

Some broad ideas below:

The States would have to have separate elections for state, county, local offices, and legislation. State can still run their primary systems to select candidates

Use the SSA to determine who is eligible to vote (18 years and older) and who is not (dead people). No one who registers will be expected to be called for jury duty.

SSA sends out notifications to eligible people to register and show proof of residency and picture ID. If the person is on welfare they will get a visit from a Federal Election officer (FEO) wherein they can provide the required proof. This also takes away the DEM argument about suppressing the vote.

If they are homeless, they can report to their nearest local outreach program and make an appointment to be visited by a FEO and register.

Once registered you must show up in person at your designated polling location and provide your registration card.

Voting can begin 1 week prior to the election and vote totals will be given each night.

I’m not married to any of the stuff above, just throwing it out there as food for thought.
