There is much debate especially here in the rock and roll center of the universe, who gets in the hall of fame? Woody Guthrie? Whitney Houston? Kiss?
Any How, I like everything from Bach to Bluegrass, it is all based on "call and response"
But my secret love is Progressive Rock or "Prog Rock"
What is your secret prog band?

The albums Genesis made “Foxtrot”, “Selling England by the Pound”, and “The Lamb Lies down on Broadway” were the best in their progressive rock era.

All Genesis before Gabriel left was a trip.

Rush and Yes, and Dream Theater, of course, but Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson are less known in the USA than they should be.
Once you get addicted to 5/8 and 7/8, 4/4 starts to sound really dull :)
