Except for the two plane rides there and back, I was only asked once in Tucson to put on a mask. And Tucson is a pretty liberal part of the state. Even the locals weren't wearing masks that much.
People are getting tired of this exercise of wearing masks. Especially when the temperature was 95 to 99 degrees outside.
This is not to say that masks weren't required. But even few of the locals wore masks.
Returning to rural Florida, not many people wear masks around here anymore either.
I have not been a mask wearer since the pandemic started. Living on a farm in a rural area, I don't see the point.
I would not comply if Biden ever made it to office and figured out how to impose some sort of federal mask wearing mandate on population. Whose going to endorse it?

Sorry, but I live close to Tucson and have shopped there more than I like. Folks are not required to wear them outside, but I’d estimate 90% compliance indoors.
