Too early for 6g even if they could remotely update firmware. I suspect some military application using 6g as a cover story to also make them look advanced and high tech. Perhaps a two-fer.
6g Military applications makes sense, We’ve weaponized space, but that doesn’t mean China has not or is not either.
So a huge communication Sat network for them would be important.
