I always really liked Trish’s show on Fox. I thought she was unfairly canned for stating the obvious truth about the Chi-Com’s.

George Orwell the author of 1984 went to Spain to fight for the communists. He was wounded most ironically by another Marxist faction possibly or it could have been Franco’s troops. They did fight each other in Spain and also against El Cadillo, Franco.

Orwell went to Spain as an avowed Marxist. He returned to England as a Libertarian Socialist. If he had of lived another 10 years he would have been a conservative.

Orwell was dying from Tuberculosis of which there was no cure at that time. He went to the Isle of Jura off the Scottish Coast to pen and finish his greatest novel, 1984.

Jura is a lovely place in the summer. In the winter it is storms, rain, wind and cold. A most fitting place for Orwell to finish his greatest novel. He did and then returned to London to have it published. It was a warning to us in the future. Orwell did not know what the technology of the future would be but he knew exactly what it would be used for. Oddly he was rather correct on his thoughts about future technology.

An anecdote about George Orwell in London. He lived on Portobello Road. A very expensive place to live today but quite the opposite when Orwell lived there. There is a very ordinary apartment (only two stories) with a blue plaque on it. The plaque tells the time that Orwell lived there. I could look up into an open window and just imagine the genius of writing that took place there.
