You have to physically hand count the ballots that were machine counted by the Brennan/Clapper software. That is how the Michigan county found what was going on with Hammer/Scorecard. The machine was programmed to alter the vote.
Just hand count the votes in any recount. Long. Sure. But, if you want to find the actual vote that is what it will take.
Audit would be extremely helpful but I think in the final analysis, proof would be needed as to how it was done.
