The President and his cabinet, at least theoretically, control our intelligence agencies and the Department of Justice.
No third party candidate has won the Presidency since at least the U.S. Civil War. The more sane way to establish new policies is from within one of the two parties. Trump's win is one example of this happening. The primary election is the place work on new policies.
It is for the reasons above that I will NEVER vote for a Democrat. I have a very intelligent relative who voted for Biden. I am pretty sure they chose him over Trump on the basis of observed personality characteristics. "Nice Guy" Biden was chosen despite the communism of the Democrat Party and their determination to disarm the American people. What nation has ever allowed itself to be disarmed and then regained that right?
So-called "freedom of choice" may have played a part, but any sensible person would know that our Founders never intended for unalienable human rights to include the right to end the life of an unborn baby. Just watching the process should sicken anybody who values their own families.
What better proof of what I am saying than to recognize that Trump may squeak out a win in Arizona while 50,000 Arizonans voted for the Libertarian candidate.
If Libertarians want freedom, their actions are not helping.
