I vote straight Republican. My father was a Democrat, and told us we had to vote Democrat too. He didn't know any better. He was born in 1904, came here as a little boy from Holland, and was naturalized when his father became a citizen. He only went to 4th grade, and worked the rest of his life on the New York Central Railroad. He was an FDR Democrat, and stayed with the party until he died in 1978.

My first ballot was cast in 1968 when I turned 21. He took me to the polling place, and told me I had to vote for Hubert Humphrey. I did, like a good, little girl. My first Republican vote was for Reagan, and I've never turned back. I will never vote for any member of the party of Satan. If my father was alive today, he wouldn't recognize the Democrat party, and I know he would never vote for anyone who supported abortion.

That’s the wrong thinking. The vast majority of Republican voters are Pro-Trump. We are the GOP now. Third Party isn’t an option, that’s why Trump ran as a Republican in the first place, to get the foot in the door to takeover the party. We cannot throw that away. It’s our GOP now!

My dad had a picture of FDR on his mantle....later it was joined by a picture of Ronald Reagan. I use to point out the irony. He eventually conceded FDR wasn’t what he thought he was.
