It is a mental illness, what was called ‘mass hysteria’ in the NSDAP days, but I don’t like describing it as that because it implies I should have sympathy for them. I can’t afford that. They are dangerously antisocial and they will not stop until they’re stopped and it isn’t clear what will work to stop them right now, so I’ll dehumanize them right back. Two words: The Enemy. Mortal. Like the japs and the gnatzies.
You do realize, right? That the “you can’t dehumanize the enemy!” started up at the same time our betters no longer allowed us to win any wars?
Enemy. A thing to be closed with and destroyed by superior comms, maneuver, and firepower, or by whatever means most convenient and effective to the moment.
Targets.
Enemy = Those that exist to be ROFL stomped and lit on fire.
The old ways, the hard ways, are the proper ways.
