The campaign’s plans for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to speak tonight were in place under the assumption the race would have be called by now. If the race is not called, Biden will still speak but not declare victory and focus on his lead.

AL.com It is unclear if Biden will declare victory in the race. The New York Post reported he will address the nation from a stage at his Wilmington, Delaware home. Fox reported the address would be at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT) but the campaign has not confirmed that time and it came and went without the speech starting. Others report only that the speech will be delivered “in prime time.” CNN is reporting the speech is now in doubt as the vote count continues.

CNN is now reporting Biden will likely speak tonight even if the race has not been called. The time of the speech will be updated as soon as it is confirmed.
