Fakebook has admitted that they have run psyop campaigns in the past to run ONLY negative news in some peoples’ feeds to see how they react.

You can use the site and engage with people but be aware that at all times you are being manipulated.

In the 1800s, Foreigners coming to the US were surprised how savvy we were, as well as how good we were at advertising. Similar effect.

Also why Russian attempts to influence us, such as they were, in 2016 were so obvious

Facebook Manipulated 689,003 Users’ Emotions For Science

Facebook has played around with manipulating people before — getting 60,000 to rock the vote in 2010 that theoretically wouldn’t have otherwise — but a recent study shows Facebook playing a whole new level of mind gamery with its guinea pigs users. As first noted by The New Scientist and Animal New York, Facebook’s data scientists manipulated the News Feeds of 689,003 users, removing either all of the positive posts or all of the negative posts to see how it affected their moods. If there was a week in January 2012 where you were only seeing photos of dead dogs or incredibly cute babies, you may have been part of the study. Now that the experiment is public, people’s mood about the study itself would best be described as “disturbed.”

The researchers, led by data scientist Adam Kramer, found that emotions were contagious. “When positive expressions were reduced, people produced fewer positive posts and more negative posts; when negative expressions were reduced, the opposite pattern occurred,” according to the paper published by the Facebook research team in the PNAS...

So You Are Shocked Facebook Did #psyops on People?

You should not be either shocked, or surprised. Companies in the social media space run an implicit yet often almost silent social compact with you. The social networking or social media company develops, tests and produces a product you want to use.

In order to use it, you have to click through terms of services or terms and conditions. These are lengthy legal documents created by very smart lawyers to basically protect the company from almost anything.

Most people literally never bother to read these “click thrus,” and instead just literally do that.

Click thru.

By doing so, one should expect to be spied on by companies and governments alike. One should also expect to be used in a multitude of “experiments,” “a/b testing,” and “algorithmic adjustments.” Expect this daily.
