"I hereby take the pledge to never watch FoxNews again."

I stopped watching Fox News back in 2000 when they called Florida for Gore before the polls closed in The Panhandle. The only time I went back to Fox was on 9/11. I haven't watched them in years, and don't watch any other news program. There is nothing they have to offer me, not even Tucker Carlson. I don't need to listen to anyone dictate the news to me. I'm smart enough to be able to figure out for myself what the f*ck is going on.

My thoughts exactly. But I didn't stop watching Fox and cable news altogether until Trump won the Republican nomination in 2016. Then I quit watching from then on.

I still watch Tucker Carlson's monologues occasionally but on YouTube. Otherwise, I have the same opinion about watching cable news. Why would I waste my time listening to their fake news and what to think about what is happening in the society and culture?

There are plenty of places, like FR, to go to, to find out what is happening in the country and the world without the filter of some media's filtered narrative.
