Yeah, I believe this was all planned in advance and the only thing the Democrats didn’t plan was Ginsberg dying. There was coordination across many states with the same tactics, e.g., stop counting in the middle of the night, papering up the windows, not letting in observers, etc. This was well orchestrated and I would like to know who are these traitorous bastards. But God or chance intervened when Ginsberg died... and that could be our saving grace. In someway the Democrats tempted fate by their arrogance in thinking that Ginsberg didn’t need to step down. It is their typical hubris and overreach.
Yes, but if so, Roberts is likely to go along in order to make the vote more unanimous. He hates, so he has claimed, 5-4 decisions. If he wants to reinforce the legitimacy of the court, he won’t hang ACB out to dry by making her first vote the deciding one on a huge case.
