It’s also worth noting that Harding still holds the record for the largest popular vote margin win in election history. And he was the first Republican to carry a southern state since the end of reconstruction.

Yep. The Teapot Dome scandal was bad but he enabled the U.S. economy to recover from the 1919-21 depression with income tax cuts.
