You’re essentially saying that the popular vote rules the day among the ruling class and (we should accept that they will get their way)(?).
I hope they don’t, and their minions fall out in violent anarchy to be herd thinned by patriots so they are crippled for several generations politically and genetically.
In one of the chapters of Guy Odems book “America’s Man on Horseback, (a fable?) (IIRC), he makes an argument for amending the constitution to temporarily or permanently allow bills of attainder for political criminals. That’s a pretty strong stretch for me liberty wise, but there are a few families that really, really, really need to work at convenience stores or stare at the ass of a horse pulling a plow all day for about 10 generations...
