Only makes me want to fight harder. The Founding Fathers put everything on the line including their lives to fight the most powerful empire in the world. Should we do less?

If we lose on the big level I just work on a smaller one. I have neighbors, family, local church, local party. My name is Persevero for a reason.
America is NOT a nation of majority principled, freedom loving people. It has a lot of them but they aren’t the majority. Most people are unprincipled and self centered and to be honest many are stupid. It shows at the polls. So what. The ideals of the US are commendable and much of our history (not all) is laudable. I continue to fight for it, realistically knowing that sometimes we lose.
