Maybe it was inevitable that the hucksters and the con artists would descend on the land and try to take advantage of the idealists and "gee whiz" Norman Rockwell types, who were all too accommodating to promote the American lifestyle.

Break up into 50 individual countries. Then slowly over time new republics can form.
