Even with all the liberal transplants from CA, Texas is going to stay pretty blue for a while. Dems still haven't won any Statewide contests for decades.
Recently:
Wendy "abortion barbie" Davis almost grabbed the governorship.. By losing to Abbott 39-59%.
Beta managed to get close to Cruz, but still lost by 215M votes. And that's after he had record amounts of $$$ from out of State, Cruz did a crappy job campaigning, and a lot of so-called conservatives hated him because he butted heads with Trump in the primaries.

The media also covered for Bozo. They didn’t cover his gun grabbing stance until after the election. They didn’t cover him feeding his wife a baby turd until after the election. They didn’t cover his fantasy about running down school children with his car until after the election.
