As I am watching the totals come in, Trump has a 59.31 / 38.9 % Lead in VA w 44.6% reporting. However, they are also saying 829K votes counted, out of 5.9M registered voters. So, if the 44.6% reporting is of CAST ballots, then that would mean 1.88M Ballots were cast, or 31.9% turnout. I am thinking the percent reporting is simply precincts, and there are a lot of high population precincts in NOVA

Northern precincts in VA are heavily concentrated dem/leechers off the tax payer and debt policies that hate limited government. Same with Maryland near DC.

If the repub candidate does not have enough of the percentage in most parts of the State the media calls it for the dem. They use a combination of exit polling and early returns from various precincts.
