For anybody unsure of how to transport a snowmobile, putting it on the roof of a vehicle isn't a good way.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said a Minnesota-registered vehicle was stopped Sunday on U.S. Highway 63 in Polk County for driving with a snowmobile strapped onto its roof.
The department urged anyone hauing equipment like a snowmobile this winter to safely do so by securing it on a trailer or in a truck.

If one is not a commercial motor vehicle load securement in Wis. says as long as it does not fall off your good to go.
Looks like the driver just pulled over when the police lit him up.
If he were “street-smart” like a BLM member he would have known to initiate a high-speed chase, run into a tree, then leap out of his car and wrestle the police officer for his gun.

Up in Canada, after a long winter, the joke was I’m going to hook up a snow plow to my truck & drive south. When people start asking what’s that thing on the front of my truck … that’s where I’m going to live.
Turn it 90 degrees and strap it back down tightly. As long as it’s not over height, over weight (entire vehicle) or too wide and doesn’t come loose then it should be legal.
We’re on a Mission from God! It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark and we’re wearing sunglasses.
