Now, 24 years later, California Democrats have placed Proposition 16 on Tuesday's ballot, a measure to reverse Prop 209 and which would “permit government decision-making policies to consider race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin to address diversity.”
In an interview with Fox News, Peter Kirsanow, a commissioner on the U.S. Civil Rights Commission, said that if passed, Prop 16 would result in more discrimination, would further exacerbate the country’s racial divide and would do more harm than good for those the initiative aims to help.

The ad showed people who are opposed to Prop 16...It was the footage of white supremacists marching...

I hope CA voters reject Prop 16...An opinion poll did show that Prop 16 is not passing...
Unfortunately, President will not win CA... I guess I have to hope that some Biden voters will vote no on Prop 16...
If Prop 16 passes, there will be fewer Asian-American students at UC Berkeley and UCLA... The admission people have to reduce number of Asian-American students in order to increase number of black and Hispanic students...
I think some liberal Asian-Americans will be voting yes on Prop 16...They want to show that they support black community's fight against systemic racism...
I do not believe in punishing white and Asian students, who get good testing scores and good grades, for the past discrimination against blacks...
