I live in Eastern Washington believe me out taxes are very high. Its just not an income tax, they nail us with every other tax known to man.
Just the sales and property taxes are enough to make up for the no income tax.

Hell, my state has driven off the road that are so far left (just not as far as Oregon, but close). The Dims are pulling all sorts of tricks to put in an income tax. The only thing that slows them is that our state constitution prohibits them.
