But which is the more worthwhile effort? Eliminate the rich? Or eliminate the poor?

You're saying that since they will be with ye always...we might as well just give up?

Not at all! If you eliminate wealth you eliminate the jobs wealth creates, and what do you have when no one has a job?

Everybody is equal! Communism’s promised end goal, no one has more that you do!

You cannot eliminate all poverty as long as there are those who will neither sow or reap.

The poverty of the soul will always be with us. If we are all dead broke because of the systemic punishment of success and the resulting elimination of wealth, and the jobs wealth creates, no one, regardless of their desire to, will have the means to be charitable.

If there is a vast fund of wealthy people, there is the ability to be charitable.

Over time those with impoverished souls will have children who see that with a little effort, they can be well-to-do.

Poverty will not vanish ever, but it will become vanishingly rare.

Perhaps the 1000 years after Armageddon will be poverty free...
