Lori Loughlin wants to be home for the holidays -- or at least by 2021 -- which is why she reported early to prison for her two-month sentence, according to a new report.

On Friday, the actress reported to the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, Calif., a U.S. Bureau of Prisons spokesperson at the facility confirmed to Fox News. She had until Nov. 19 to report to prison.

Now, according to People magazine, citing a legal source close to Loughlin, the reasoning behind it is due to the fact that she wants to be released by the end of the year.

What prison gang will she join?

What’s the Over & Under for the number of prison tats she will get while in the slammer?

it was certainly not worthy of jail time.

She DARED to say she wanted to go to trial. So they upped the risk to multiple years in prison if she lost. The pressure and fear of being locked up for years (I think it was up to seven?) ramped up with every pre-trial. Eventually she blinked. I think most people would blink. Prosecutors get to brag that they got prison. She gets to be back with her family for the holidays. And that pesky right to a trial where the prosecution actually has to prove something is avoided.

If still overcrowding, a few days. I hope she gets back to work at least on those garage sale mysteries. She was outstanding in them. People have done far worse and went back to work.

This is Fed prison. She HAS to do 85% of her time. No early release from the Feds. She will be out Dec 21st if she doesn’t get tough in there.

It shouldn’t be brutal, but it’s not gonna be fun.

Lori’s crimes pale compared to Comey, Brennan, or Clapper.

I hope she can recover and get work again. You’re right. She was great in Garage Sale Mysteries and her cast mates really liked her.

It was a stupid mistake, but her whole life doesn’t need to be ruined, and she certainly shouldn’t have gotten jail time.

What I want to know is - why none of the college administrators who TOOK the bribes are in jail. Who’s more guilty - the briber or the bribed?

It's some kind of unwritten rule. Politicians benefit from it all the time.

The one who gave the bribe is the criminal. The one who took the crime is... well, whatever he (or she) is, they're not prosecuted.

There are no cells in a spa prison like this

They either have rooms or more likely a large open space with cubicle type areas for sleep and personal space stuff

The feds have a 98 percent conviction rate and beating them isn’t easy.

The charges are piled on and you need an expensive lawyer or team of lawyers to fight them.

From what I’ve seen in the last four years your name has to be Bundy to beat the federal prosecutors who in Case 1 in Oregon lost to a fighting lawyer who got tackled and tased by the federal marshals right after the not guilty verdicts in the courtroom.

Then in Bundy Case 2 in Nevada Bunkerville the feds withheld the evidence from defense lawyers proving their innocence. Mistrial and dismissal of charges with prejudice.

There’s no early release in the federal system for anything under a year. It’s why a lot of “year and a day” sentences. That way they can get good time credit.

So, she got a fine of $150,000, 100 hours of community service. She will do 85% of the 60 day sentence which is roughly 51 days. She got two years of supervised release, a sort of probation.

The terms of federal supervised release vary, but the general rule is:

"For supervised release cases, conditions must involve “no greater deprivation of liberty than is reasonably necessary” for the purposes of deterrence; protection of the public; and providing needed correctional treatment to the defendant.

When looking at that 98% conviction rate, I wonder how many are as a result of plea deals and how many from full trial. Genuinely don’t know. But I’d guess a pretty massive amount of counted convictions came before and without an actual trial. Stacked charges and financial burden, coupled with offering sentences of 80-90% less simply for agreeing NOT to go to trial would certainly elevate conviction rates that would otherwise be lower.

She used the wrong channels, but colleges are fine with people using influence to get admission.

The Bidens, on the other hand, sold out our national security for personal monetary gain. They are the modern-day Rosenbergs.

It’s about punishing celebrities who donate tho the GOP. IIRC, her husband is a GOP donor — and maybe she is, too.

"The feds have a 98 percent conviction rate and beating them isn’t easy."

The feds can outspend you by billions. The Michael Flynn case shows that the feds have almost unlimited power and resources.
