I’m pretty happy with what I had in TX this morning.
Got a unique PIN for the touch screen
Put a paper ballot in
Selected my candidates
Machine spat out the paper with all my selections clearly spelled out in ink
Went over to the fellow with the collection box and fed it into the scanner which scanned my ballot and kept the paper.
No dangling nouns or participles for me, thank you. Hopefully all will go well today :)
Sounds like a good system. I can’t think of a good reason for states to stick with all paper or all electronic - unless it’s to cheat.

Is the pin unique to you?
Can they tell how you voted, by entering the pin into a software program?
Can you check to see that your vote was entered correctly by entering your pin later, at home?
