ugh...the new one looks too much like a mosque....that is a fascinating film, almost got a documentary like feel to it...guess its considered a land mark film in terms of psychological thrillers....
Indeed. If you get a chance, check out the DVD that has Herk Harvey, the Director/Producer's comments on making the film - a real seat-of-the-pants operation (cost $30,000 to make).
Gems like walking up to a van driver at a stop light and asking "Wanna make $25? Chase a girl down an alley." Same $25 offer to that salesclerk in the store. He had to pay the county $38 to repair the bridge railing where the car went through; the director was the creepy guy emerging from the water, etc.
The guy never made a nickle out of it as the distributor ran off with the money.
