This is not the first one. There have been three attempts to carry inside Disney property. The one before this is when a bell hop was carrying in luggage and notice that one bag was very heavy at the Polynesian Village Resort. The Oange County police were summoned and the guy opened the bags for them. He had a broke down rifle and a hand gun.

He told them he was worried about his family and the problems in the immediate area and showed them his concealed carry. They did not arrest him. They took the guns and stored the hand gun in the Polynesian Resort safe for him to get when he was going off grounds. And the rifle was stored at the Animal Kingdom armory for him to get when he left the area for good. They were going to be returned with the approval of the owner. Simple way to handle a problem and no one was hurt or even dissatisfied with the agreement. That’s how it’s supposed to work.

the way the story reads, i think she went to disney, and yhem rwalized she had left her gun in her bag, and ditched it. not sure whg she didnt just take it back to the car, but maybe they were dropped off.

no indication there was actually a 6 yearcold.
