I just ran around the corner to my local Chase branch to make a deposit. While waiting on the teller line, I watched as the UPS Driver - middle-aged Black man was giving the older Asian woman teller the boxes as she held open the inside teller door. Here's what I heard:
mid-50's Black UPS Driver: "Don't worry - only a few more days." Asian teller says something - I couldn't hear. mid-50's Black UPS Driver: "After Trump wins, we'll still be friends, right?" Asian teller says something - I couldn't hear.
He starts walking out. I say to him - "After Trump wins - we'll work on the hate from the other side." He responds "That's right." He says to one of the desk account managers "I'm going to get you a red hat!" I call out "Get me one too!" and we both Thumbs Up!
Guy was totally cheerful. Just amazing as I've been reading about Black Males for Trump - but just made me smile. Totally anecdotal but this is Palm Beach County Florida! And the Black middle-aged UPS Guy is NOT shy about promoting Trump!
I can't wait for Nov 3rd. (has anyone made coffee with Liberal tears? how does it taste?)
Free at last, free at last. Thank God almighty, hes free at last.
I think the notion that 30% will vote for Trump is a pipe dream. Hopefully half that number have chosen, like this man, to unshackle themselves. Thats more than enough for Tuesday and we can work on the rest later
Why?
I think his brother is a teacher (union type) and he looks to him for guidance
I do the same thing, just to see the reaction.
Some times thumbs up, some times a scowl.
I don't give a fat rat's ass {I always carry, so I care even less}.
Mostly, I get a thumbs up.
Thanks for posting this.
I’m feeling better and better about this election.
I worked with many Vietnamese Americans. There is a quite large community over here. All of them are refugees from South Vietnam. Many of them worked for South Vietnamese government, fighting on our side (or rather we were helping them). Some ran away from the communist before the takeover, but most survived communist gulags. They have stories to tell.
BTW we were supporting the good guys in Vietnam!
Some of them told me, when the war ended, they were exhausted, and they hoped that at least there would be a peace. No, the fighting was replaced by starvation and reeducation concentration camps. The real disaster in South Vietnam happened after the war!
