The problem with your suggestion that Hunter hid the laptop is this.
In a legit financial fraud or money laundering investigation, the FBI would have done search warrants on the icloud server for his emails (maybe even to read them in real time in addition to viewing older ones), his instant messenger and Fakebook, and other means he used to communicate as described by Tony B. They did NOT need the laptop or the hard drive to have possession of the information that has been revealed.
I don’t know what to make of this.... either they opened such an investigation and were simply going through the motions not doing what they typically do (aggressively) OR they did all of this and have been sitting on it for over a year to include through impeachment.
I cannot come up with any explanation for this that is 1) justifiable or 2) even makes sense unless they had some unrelated motive to slow-walk it or deep 6 it.
For the record, Rudy G has been talking about this stuff for over half a year. Peter Schweizer wrote a damn good book that was entirely ignored by the left and media that was never attacked as wrong on a single allegation.
There are two justice systems in the US. One for them (the liberal elite) and one for the rest of us. Sorry, it pains me to write that, but what other conclusion can we draw?

there is no greater power than having blackmailable dirt on POTUS. Hence the FBI kept the Hunter laptop in their own private cache of ammo against Biden.
If this is the reason, the repercussions need to be most severe and long-lasting. I wish I found what you wrote to be incredible and highly unlikely, but in the DC Swamp that has been revealed the last 4 years it actually seems plausible.

Based on Jack’s Twitter feed, it looks like lots of TV stations are picking this story up. Slowly but surely it’s getting out. Maybe the dam will burst.
A safer place would have been in a safe with his attorney. I am not discounting what you said and intended no disrespect. Hunter is not exactly a brilliant criminal or very careful person based on what we know about him, but hiding a computer at a repair shop with a 90 day forfeiture policy would be a special kind of stupid.
Then again, Joe said Hunter is the smartest person he knows.
