Sig Sauer announced last week they were expanding their NH manufacturing operations and hiring an addition 150 employees. They were especially interested in machinists.

Sig Sauer manufactures firearms in Portsmouth, NH. They are going to expand into Rochester, NH.

I am too. They had a pretty rough beginning in Oregon and ended up in the Jerico precision machine factory in Yonkers. It's funny how many firearms manufacturers's states have ended up rabidly anti-gun: Colt in Connecticut, Smith and Wesson in Massachusetts, etc.

I have a couple of their pieces including an early run Custom Target Gen I - in my experience they're worth every penny. Last time I called customer service (it was for a free sight upgrade) the guy who answered the phone had a NY accent so thick I wasn't sure it was English. Good folks.
