In Arizona, cases and hospitalizations are rising. Have been for 6 weeks. I like watching hospitalizations because they seem to be reported more promptly and more accurately than cases. Deaths? They aren’t accurate within the last two weeks. My best guess is that deaths have leveled off. The graph shows them going down but I think as numbers come in - based on watching daily since May - the numbers will level off or SLIGHTLY rise. Rise at a rate much lower than the rate of increase in cases.

That reflects, IMHO, both younger people catching it AND better treatment options. If someone is overweight, this would be a GREAT time to diet seriously. I had great success with Keto. A friend has had excellent success with Vegan. Whatever it takes.

It also looks to me like anything that tends to thin the blood - low dose aspirin, Quercetin, etc - may improve odds, as may mild vitamin D supplements. Worst case, it doesn’t cost much (aspirin & D costs under 5 cents/day) and won’t hurt anything.

Beyond that, until a vaccine is developed (and it may not)...wash hands frequently, avoid crowded and confined spaces if possible, don’t touch near your eyes and GET ON WITH LIFE. Most of my friends are late 60s/70s. We don’t want to spend the next 10 years hiding behind masks and avoiding all human contact. We KNOW we are likely to die in the next 10-15 years and don’t want to waste them watching TV in the basement!

Caution? Yes. Fear? No thanks! The wife and I went to a Trump rally a few weeks ago. Lots of people. Few masks. And no sign of any harm. Going for a short vacation today, to a town and area of AZ that doesn’t give a rat’s rear about wearing masks. Let’s get on with LIFE, knowing any of us could die today! Our bodies belong to this world. Our souls belong to Jesus. Caution, not fear!

Amen. The only thing i have to add to that is while hospitalizations are rising the death rate is decreasing fairly dramatically. This is here to stay we need to live with it
