I got in trouble with an Air Force Colonel when I saluted a friend of mine and said "Good Morning, Killer". He stormed up to me and demanded to know what I meant by that (I was a Marine captain at the time).

I said "Sir, in our line of work, we're either killers or bus drivers - which one are you"?

My buddy (an Air Force colonel) laughed and the first colonel stormed off.
