I was born in ‘61.
Those were halcyon days, compared to now.
I feel so sorry for people with kids.
This is all they will ever know.
I see little tiny kids walking around the stores with their Sponge Bob and Frozen face masks and I cry inside.
Yeah, you’re a year older than my half-sister. About the same age as the characters from “That ‘70s Show.” I used to watch the teenagers back then when I was a little kid in the ‘70s and envy their freedom and fearlessness (maybe recklessness ?).
Mine was probably the last generation that could go outside without having parents supervise each and every little thing we did, although even that was reigned in from the ‘70s teens by the time I became one. Now we see what that’s done. The most neurotic, overprotected, overpampered, overentitled, special snowflake megalomaniacs imaginable.
