why doesnt everyone switch to gun owners of america I've never heard of them. Have they been around long?
I'd be interested to know what drew you to them.
Thanks in advance.

I know very little, other than that others have described them as an uncorrupt (or much less so) version of NRA.
It makes me wonder why everyone doesn’t switch with the recent problems in NRA.

From what I've seen, GOA is a more down-to-earth serious organization. NRA will support legislation if it's what popular among gun owners, and will occasionally get involved in legal actions (lawsuits). NRA does have very good hunter/shooter/kiddie firearm education programs. GOA seems to be more focused on legal stuff, Constitutional issues. NRA doesn't care about Constitutional stuff as much, they care about big popular stuff.
