To Old Player...
I’m from the good old USA...you know, that place where we put people in jail with no bail when the evidence is overwhelming that they have sexually abused young girls.
Her enabling of Epstein is well documented...no conjecture, and she has engaged in discussions with the FBI and local law enforcement. Based on those discussions, she’s in jail. Period.
Why don’t you start a “Go-Fund-Me” page for Ghislane?
Kudos to the prison administration. "Solution oriented leadership"
She isn’t American, has money and is thus a highly probable flight risk. She could probably get to anywhere in the world in a day or so even in these covid days.
Well, are you even going to give her a trial of her peers? That’s a quaint custom, too. Some folks are quick to ignore it when it suits them.
What the Constitution actually says is, "Excessive bail shall not be required". No excessive bail has been set here.
You want to round up a jury of forign nationals that are sex trafficker to be her jury? Those would be her peers, wouldn't they?
“You want to round up a jury of forign nationals that are sex trafficker to be her jury?”
I didn’t say that.
That is an opinion. It may be correct, but that it is indeed a value judgment, must be recognized. In this case, the trial judge agrees with you, arguments of the defendant not withstanding.
I think she should be dressed in the way Jeffrey preferred.
She is accused of serious crimes. The judge deemed her a flight risk because she is wealthy and has contacts around the world. So bail was denied. At a bond hearing. As the law provides.
Oh the Dems won’t release her...to much potential for damaging the brand; they’ll keep her bottled up while trusting the MSM to push her existence down the memory hole.
With Winter coming on maybe they will issue her more substantial cardboard clothes to keep her warm.
Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.
Has bail been set? Last I saw, no bail had been set, and by definition, it can’t be excessive.
