Hunter retrieved one of the three laptops didn’t he? One was too damaged and was thrown away. One was repaired, right? And one was never picked up. That would tend to sayThat Hunter knew it was there and didn’t care.

Hunter retrieved one of the three laptops didn’t he? He brought in three laptops. Left with two that day.
Third one was kept for more work - which contained the drive.
