That's a silly theory. To begin with, it assumes that Hunter Biden was capable of rational thought, at least sufficient to concieve and carry out such an indirect plan.

Two things are much more likely: (1) Hunter is used to being sloppy and getting away with it, and (2) life with all those influence pedaling deals was simply moving too fast for his crack-addled mind, and he never gave retrieving his laptops a second thought.

One thing I've never seen is the mention of any staffers or aides accompanying Hunter Biden on the shake down cruises. Who were his minders/aides? He obviously couldn't/wouldn't handle all the travel arrangements, paperwork, such as draft agreements, appointments, score drugs etc. by himself. Looking for Hunter Biden +1 or 2 at least on travel logs, etc.

Schmucks like him need an entourage to reinforce and project their sense of importance.
