The NY Slimes just dropped the headline that Trump has a Chinese account that is under a corporate name. I believe this is an old story, but I think they’re rehashing it in time for tomorrow’s debate. Muddying the waters so the media can say both men have financial contacts with the Chinese. Pretty lame and desperate October Surprise, but we know there’s more upcoming in the week and change left before the election!
Oh, the horror!! I bet a person had to read about 20-25 paragraphs into the story to learn that it was a corporate account. There is nothing illegal about having a foreign bank account as long as you properly report it. Given that Trump businesses have an army of tax professionals, I doubt that proper disclosure was overlooked.
