Locally, we had a wedding party to occur....maybe 200 folks there, and tests started up a couple of days later...maybe 70 came up positive. No one says much over seating arrangements but it would be nice to know that one single guy passed it to the other 69.
In that case, I would look at the chef. Who else had contact with EVERYONE?
Transmission happens 1:1. So if you were there and Uncle Billy had it, and you were on the other side of the room the chances are slim you would get it. It doesn’t work that way.
But, if ever spoon was handled by someone with it, it could transmit that way.
