Choir practice went fine. We learned a new song without too much effort.
Igor and I joined a Stake Choir in Tucson once and we did an arrangement of “Poor Wayfaring Man Of Grief.” Never, in all my days of singing in choirs did I work hard enough to work up a sweat. This time was different. Every practice!
It was worth it, though. The choir was experienced and the Maestro (a rare thing in church choirs) composed the arrangement himself. Looking back, it was probably the most fun I ever had in a church choir!
Since then, almost all new songs are effortless to learn. At least, they were. Don’t know what they will be like, once I get to a Ward where I will stay...
