And the list of perishibles destruction goes on...I was going to refill a flour canister and thought the flour smelled off (why my last bread loaf had to be chucked) and found the “Best By” date was this month, but it had already begun to go south last month. So I checked the dates on the other bags in the pantry, and I ended up chucking almost all of it. One bag survived the noose. Now, I guess I’ll have to buy in very small quantities to lessen the weight for the move. Less in the canister means a lighter box to carry.

Disheartening as all get out.

We are also trying to reduce the food stores. We had planned to live a more minimalist life and then COVID and the runs on whatever started.
