Well, you’re right about this. Asuncion told me this morning that she couldn’t participate in the Novena because of internet issues at her house, and I’ll bet there are others with connectivity issues or who can’t afford the data charges.
It’s not like we have another choice right now, but for the long term, “live in person” seems to have some major advantages.
Favorite Daughter is always trying to get me to participate in Zoom or online chat of some kind.
I figure I’m better off not getting in the habit in case the grid goes down on a semi-permanent basis.
The second hour of meetings each week is always on Zoom, but so many people have trouble connecting or staying connected. It doesn’t seem be be internet connection so much as a Zoom connection. The entire system has always been iffy, right from the first.
