I just spent 20 minutes cutting up dates for the fruitcake because Walmart had no chopped dates. It’s OK, though, because I had stuck them in the fridge to get them off my counter, and then I dipped the scissors in flour.
My right thumb joint hates me, though.
The leaves are falling like snowflake out there. There is no wind so they’re just dropping off the trees. Strange.
So, now I’m going to have a lunch of sorts and then get back to the next stage of the fruitcake.
I read that too fast and thought you said it was snowing ;-).
I left Jake to take Pat to work. Now I’m making a cup of tea, and then I’ll go upstairs and clean something.
